Artwork submission guidelines – vectorisation, colours, fonts and file formats

Accepted file formats

You can submit production artwork in EPS, AI or PDF format using the following applications:

  • CorelDRAW
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign

Printed wraps and graphics

Design is recommended using:

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop

Note: Files from applications such as AutoCAD 2005 are not directly suitable for print production. Please contact our specialists if needed.

Vector format and images

Before submitting your artwork, please ensurethat your EPS, AI or PDF file containsvector graphics. If vectors are missing, we will carry out vectorisation as an additional service.

Colour images

Accepted formats:

  • JPG
  • TIFF
  • EPS

Colour settings:

  • CMYK: Euroscale Coated, FOGRA 27, FOGRA 39
  • RGB: Adobe RGB 1998

Image resolution

Recommended resolution for print images:

  • 100–150 dpi at 1:1 scale

Fonts

Accepted font formats:

  • TrueType (TTF)
  • OpenType (OTF)

If special fonts are not correctly embedded, they must be converted to outlines (additional service).

Submitting artwork

Send files to: [email protected]

If the file exceeds 10 MB:

  • Send a Dropbox link
  • or use WeTransfer

Please remember to include:

  • A clear reference image
  • Clear file names with file extensions (pdf, eps, zip)
  • A note if images are not supplied at 1:1 scale

Other important submission guidelines

Previous templates

If you are ordering additional items previously produced for you, please supply the original template or an image of it.

Installation guidelines

Before installation, please provide:

  • Location and height of the installation site
  • Contact persons on site
  • Whether a ladder (max 3 m) or a crane lift is required (charged separately)

An advance site visit by the installer is recommended to avoid additional costs.

Removal of existing wraps and signs

Please clarify:

  • Whether removal is required
  • The quantity of existing wraps and how they are attached
  • Photographs of the site if necessary

Weather conditions

Installations cannot be carried out in:

  • Hard frost
  • Rain
  • Strong wind

Please advise if any of the following are required:

  • Crane lift
  • Electrician (illuminated signs)
  • Excavator (ground-mounted signs)

Proof approval and responsibility

The client is responsible for checking and approving the proof. Once approved, the proof goes directly into production and any errors identified thereafter will be charged to the client.

The client is also responsible for ensuring that all submitted artwork is free of copyright issues.
